He With The Most Credit Cards Wins?

I am a big fan of credit cards... not because I charge things and then wonder how I can pay for them later but rather because it simplifies my expenses. I hand over my card, sign a piece of paper and at the end of the month I can pay off my bill electronically from my bank. It saves me a trip to the ATM and lets me better add up how much I spent. In an effort to remain responsible and keep my minimum amount of bills philosophy, I resisted getting more credit cards until I found out it can help you get a mortgage. Something to do with multiple trade lines or trend lines. It seems this guy took that philosophy to an extreme with 1,497 credit cards!!!!! I wonder what his free credit report looks like.
