Only Christ will bring Middle East Peace

After the death of Arafat, there were many with hopes for peace in the Middle East. After all, without the Prince of Terrorism, maybe the Palestinians would consider the two-state solution. Yeah, right. Too bad, the new leadership is already promising the end of Israel... right after they get their own state from Sharon.

Fatah chief Farouk Khaddoumi said the Palestinian strategy toward Israel was two-fold. In the first stage, he said, the Palestinians would accept a Palestinian state alongside Israel. In the second stage, the Palestinians would seek to eliminate the Jewish state...In November, Khaddoumi replaced the late Yasser Arafat as leader of Fatah, Middle East Newsline reported..."[There are] 300 million Arabs, while Israel has only the sea behind it," Khaddoumi said.

Sigh. Thank God we are celebrating the birth of the real Prince of Peace on Saturday. Until He returns, it is unlikely that peace will come to Jerusalem.
