The Decline of Western Civilization Continues

I tend to be musically tolerant. I can listen to and enjoy just about any music. But I have to confess that I find the bulk of rap music to be simply insulting not only in its content but also in its style. There are some genuinely good rappers out there, but lets face it...Most of them are just plain awful and unimaginative. Yet rap has found its way into mainstream culture so much so that now Oxford has decided to add rap slang into the dictionary. This is just what we need, kids looking through the dictionary to find the official meaning of "Crack ho."
