Nomad likes the Sidekick II!

You remember the incredible deal from Amazon on a Sidekick II? (If you have forgotten, I'll attach the graphic below, again.) Well, I decided to take the plunge. My work is installing new software to stop all webmail access to employees within corporate buildings in 2005, so it was time to find an alternate solution that was a little more cost effective than my Kyocera 7135 on Verizon. I bought the thing on Sunday, it was delivered Tuesday, and I was able to activate it and use it within 5 minutes. So far, so good. It gets better signal indoors than my Verizon phone, had a better web browser, has push e-mail for both T-mail and all of my other POP accounts, and has free unlimited text messaging. None too shabby.



Now, I need to decide whether to dump my Verizon account, or keep it for the better coverage in fringe areas and for the old phone number. Hmmm...
