The Guardian has a book review on 100 things to do before you die, from a science perspective. They list at least two after you've died, so I guess it's no more than 98 things to do before you die, but some of them sound interesting. Some sound interesting, such as extracting your own DNA or turning some of your ashes into a diamond. Some, well, are more for a jr. high guy camping trip such as "Use your excreta to enter the amazing world of the dung beetle" Amazon has the book for sale
