She Said What?

Imagine my chagrin when during the recent Clinton interview, Christiane Amanpour asked the following question of the former President,

AMAMPOUR: You intervened in Bosnia and Kosovo to stop genocide, and the war was also coupled with a very robust, postwar plan, with very heavy armored U.S. forces and a political plan.



Given the instability in Iraq, post the formal war there, what do you think could and should have been done differently to stabilize Iraq in much the same way Bosnia and Kosovo were after the war?

WHAT?!? Stablizie Iraq in the same way we did Kosovo? Has she completely lost her mind? Kosovo is still a disaster as can be seen by this, this, and don't forget this one.



That she can make this claim on national television under the guise of a news program just shows how completely and utterly off kilter the news media is. They're living is some strange haze that they seem unable to penetrate. We're living in an age where revisionist history doesn't even need to wait. Let's revise it while it's happening and no one will know. How did we let things get this bad? Are we just that determined to live in the status quo that we won't even put up a fight anymore?
