Pre-emption is here to stay

President Bush re-asserted the right of the United States to pre-emptively wage war to prevent terrorist or terrorists states from striking America. While I applaud Bush for sticking to his guns on the issues, I am really uncomfortable about this particular issue. He has yet to convince me that even in a post-9/11 world, it is within the American ethos to hit first.
