CNN/SI is reporting that Shaq has agreed on a deal to move from the L.A. Lakers to the Florida Heat. While we here at Mod-BLog do not usually cover sports stuff, this seemed worth reporting as confirmation of the end of another era. Just as Michael Jordan's retirement from the Bulls ended a chapter in NBA history, so this confirms the end of the next chapter. The Shaq-Kobe-Phil Jackson Laker Era of domination is over. Who will be the next dominant force in the NBA? Nomad hopes it is the 76ers but then his teams almost never win while he is paying attention.
