Amnesty Second Thoughts

The Iraqi government has decided to change their minds on the offer for amnesty to militants. I understand that the Iraqis want to get past all of this, but offering to not bring to justice those who have caused pain and suffering to their fellow citizens is not the way. If the government wants Iraqis to continue to view them as legitimate, they have to find a balance between not being too cruel but not letting justice go unserved.
