The biggest changes are added hardware reliability, built-in camera, ability to sync with Outlook, and a longer battery life (which my brother never found to be a truly limiting factor anyway). I am guessing he will be upgraded within six months, and if you are the type who needs net access 24/7, I would recommend that you do so as well.

T-Mobile SideKick 2 Released
The new Danger Hiptop known in America as the T-Mobile Sidekick II has been released into the wild! The original Sidekick has been a favorite of my brother, CRChair, as he seeks to maintain the ability to send/recieve e-mail and surf the web no matter where his job may take him. It has been so successful that it has convinced him to abandon our family plan with Verizon for a dedicated cellular account with T-Mobile.
