That bastion of lunatic left thought, the Guardian, has a piece up reflecting their usual "Conservative bad, liberal good!" mantra. That shouldn't surprise anyone, but there is one particular claim that I had to re-read a couple of times. The article claims that Drudge is a "trusted mouthpiece of the right." That's pretty interesting since I know plenty of liberals who get news from Drudge as well. Tell me, how can someone who simply puts links to news stories up be either liberal or conservative? He doesn't give commentary and he posts whatever he finds in the news. How is that being a mouthpiece to the right? How has Drudge become a part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy?
Oh yeah! I forgot. It's because the lunatic left doesn't read the news. Therefore, anyone who prints actual news instead of gossip (like maybe reporting in your front page about Cheney planning on leaving the administration) must be a far right wing, gun toting, abortionists killing, homophobic, racist. You know, it gets harder and harder to defend these idiots every day. It's hard to maintain moderation when one side is so stupid that it's embarrassing to associate with them, no matter how valuable you feel some of their ideas might be.
