With the state of the economy, war on two or three fronts and plenty of other issues it seems strange that people would be arguing about whether or not there should be a dress code at polling places. I understand and agree with the GOP on this issue, but I don't think it's something that needs to be brought up right now. There are plenty of other issues that need to be worked out before we start arguing over dress code. I think this should be tabled until January when passions are not so inflamed.
I agree that this is silly. So long as the dress is not offensive or distracting, it should not be an issue. An Obama T-shirt is appropriate unless it is threatening. We really have bigger things to worry about right now. Good post, Sean.
YanıtlaSilMountains out of molehills. Annoying as some people's fashion sense is, it's not grounds to put any difficulty in the way of their voteing. As for political tshirts... why is that a problem? The campaign has been going on the months, a glance at someone's tshirt isn't going to change any minds.
YanıtlaSilI agreed 100%, Raven.
