Cashing In - Tolkien's son to release new "Lord of the Rings" book

Working from copious notes left behind by his father, Christopher Tolkien has allegedly completed a new book in the Lord of the Rings series called "The Children of Hurin". This is not the first book that Tolkien's son has produced since his father's death - the Silmarillian (outline of the history of Middle Earth) was produced after the death of J.R.R. Tolkien, but was largely untouched from the original version which he had tried to publish during his lifetime. The new book appears to be a "prequel" of sorts to the LOTR series, taking place long before the time of Bilbo Baggins. Hollywood already is sniffing around the book hungrily, looking for a way to cash in.
