So, you make a movie with only one goal: defeat George W. Bush in 2004. You put it out as late as possible in the year, so that it can have the maximum effect on the election. You then put out the DVD as fast as possible, in hopes that it will reach the widest possible audience. It makes more money than any other documentatry in history, proving that plenty of Americans give it a chance. It then inspires several different responses. In the end, it sways as many voters to vote for Bush as against him, and George W. Bush wins a second term in office. So what is the proper response?
If you are Michael Moore, you make a sequel. Well, he did make a ton of money off of the first one. But if the final effects of Fahrenheit 9/11 are indicative of "Fahrenheit 9/11 1/2" then he will pretty much guarantee us a Republican president to follow up George W. Bush in 2008. Who knew Michael Moore was a closet conservative?
