Is it more a sign of mental deficiency or simply carelessness that allowed Britain's Prince Henry to be seen wearing a swastika in public? The princeling apparently wore the nazi symbol to a "costume party" with some friends. He has apologized for the incident as having been "in poor taste."
Okay, there have been a few examples of late of this kind of thing, so let me clarify things for those uncertain about displaying Nazi symbols. Wearing white after Labor Day is in "poor taste". Making fun of someone for their disability is in "poor taste." Passing gas through any orifice in your body at a formal affair is in "poor taste." Using the salad fork for the soup course is in "poor taste." Honoring a regime which murdered millions, nearby bombed your country back to the stone age, broke treaty after treaty, and sought genocide on a wide scale is not in "poor taste." It is horrible, horrible judgement.
Prince Harry is lucky his position is heriditary. I doubt he could be allowed into public office otherwise after showing such incredibly bad judgement.
