After spending 10 days in London with friends who were outspoken about their disdain for President Bush (news - web sites)'s policies, Berns Rothchild came home wishing she had a way to show the world she didn't vote for him. "I sort of felt ashamed, and didn't really want to be associated with being an American," said Rothchild, who lives in New York City and voted for John Kerry...Rothchild, 35, is selling blue bracelets that say "COUNT ME BLUE," while Laura Adams, of Fairway, Kan., offers blue bracelets that say "HOPE." The McKnight family, of Moscow, Idaho, is even more direct; their black bracelets proclaim: "I DID NOT VOTE 4 BUSH."Honestly, I have not been able to find ANY of these on eBay or via Google, so this may just be a fly-by-night publicity operation. Still, it is creative so they get points for that. Still, is this the start of a trend where Republicans are wearing RED bracelets, enviros are wearing green bracelets, and undecided voters wind up wearing transparent bracelets?!

Blue Bracelets - Fight Bush More Important then Fighting Cancer
Remember those Lance Armstrong yellow bracelets to fight cancer? They were quickly followed up by entreprenuers and con men who sold pink bracelets that they claimed were to fight breast cancer. (We learned later most were just pocketing the cash.) Well, now apparently, the newest colored bracelet craze is blue bracelets to signify an unrepentant blue state Bush hater.
