Dean Seeks DNC Crown

Well, if the Democrats want to repeat their "success" in the 2004 elections, the way appears to be clear. Nominate Howard Dean for DNC Head. After all, what could be better than nominating a man to lead your party who proved to be power hungry, unwise with his money, unable to handle the national spotlight, unable to form coherent positions, and unable to go the distance.
In his letter, Dean made it clear that he remains part of what he calls "the Democratic wing of the Democratic Party," a phrase he borrowed from the late Sen. Paul Wellstone of Minnesota.

"That word — 'values' — has lately become a codeword for appeasement of the right-wing fringe," Dean wrote. "But when the political calculations make us soften our opposition to bigotry, or sign on to policies that add to the burden of ordinary Americans, we have abandoned our true values."
Hey, at least this would mean great political theater for the next four years or more. Question is, would he open every commitee meeting with a primal scream?
