It is my LEAST favorite form of spam - well, aside from the horrible, horrible X-rated junk (thank God for Apple's auto Junk Mail detection!) - those e-mails from someone overseas claiming to be an heir to a fabulous fortune in a closed-off country. "Just let me use your bank account to funnel the money into the USA," they say, "And I will give you 10% of my $20 grajillion dollars." Of course, anyone foolish enough to give into the scam winds up having THEIR FUNDS taken out of the bank account and usually wired somewhere that it is impossible to recover money from. This is known on the Net as "the Nigerian scam" because most of the first e-mails of this type used Nigeria as the closed-off country in question.
Well, finally, some Nigerian scammer/spammers are being punished! It is not a lot, but it is a start!
