I reported this on Friday as "a shooting of a suicide bomber", so I feel compelled to report today that the London police are now calling the Friday shooting "a tragedy." Apparently, at the time the victim was suspected of a connection, but was shot when he refused to obey police and became beligerent and threatening. The Brazillian was simply in a "wrong place, wrong time" situation. My prayers are with his friends and family at this time.
At the same time, from what I know now I do not blame the police. They were in the thick of the unknown facing a threatening man after two terrrorist attacks. Not to say this was right. Not at all, but it was understandable. And perhaps inevitable.
