Armstrong Wins 7... And Calls it Quits

I am no fan of racing in general or bicycle racing in particular. But it seems fitting to note Lance Armstrong's history 7th win in the Tour de France and perhaps more importantly, his retirement from professional cycling. Armstrong is hardly perfect - some have tried to portray him as a Christian or as model for the children of the world, but he has had his share of "I am not a role model" moments. But he is a great athlete, and has accomplished feats that no one has done before. And for that, he deserves measure of respect. And a place in the history books.
