Worst idea in the history of bad ideas

They want to make a 6th Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy book without Douglas Adams (who died in 2001). It appears to be with the support of his widow, which makes me wonder if he left her with any life insurance to pay off the mortgage.

  1. I don't understand the rational behind something like this (other than the obvious money). It bothered me when a Tolkien book was published and edited largely posthumously as well. This is a piece of (for all intents) art that represents a particular author. It seems so disingenuous to write something that reflects that author without him being around to approve it or not. So when it is inevitably published and is horrible, his legacy is sullied by the action of a few greedy people.
