I have pointed this out to several friends who do REAL work...

...in the construction fields. New software that allows you to get measurements of any building automatically from a digital picture. There are currently no third-party reviews out there yet, so it could all be a hoax or vaporware. But if it works, I could see it saving contractors, builders, and similar trades thousands of dollars a year in surveying costs.
