Rambling's Journal has relayed some info from a few Star Trek boards discussing the end of the Enterprise series. We can only hope it's not true. (Warning: some strong language)
So, is there just something wrong with Sci-Fi writers? It seems that none of them can end well. So many otherwise great shows have been marred by awful endings that leave a bad taste in the mouth. I tend to blame Sci-Fi executives because they're too busy looking out for the bottom dollar, an attitude that flies in the face of true science fiction. They certainly ruined Andromeda after they picked it up. But this isn't Sci-Fi now. Maybe the genre has just attracted too many writers who think it's easy to do fantastical stories. I don't know. I know staff on this blog that can write better science fiction than what we're seeing on TV.
Sigh, another show goes off the air with a whimper.
