Star Wars PG-13: Revenge of the Sith?

George Lucas appears to be floating a new idea for Star Wars fans: "What if Star Wars 3 were to be released with a PG-13 rating?" Essentially, he is flat-out admitting that the Fall of Anakin Skywalker will be darker and more violent than any past Star Wars film. He is trying to figure out whether his supposedly kid-friendly trilogy can be made in a way which is true to his vision, without alienating either the die-hard fans or the semi-avid public who is looking for a fun family film.
