March is still a LION in the Northeast

Well, I was going to stick to stories today that do not involve me, but there is not a whole lot of news out there today worth reporting, so... Why not? You may have heard about the storm that slammed the Northeastern USA. Well, the Nomad was in the middle of it last night. I left work at 3 PM yesterday afternoon - hoping to avoid the worst of it - and got stuck on Interstate 84 for several hours. Normally, my commute takes about 45 minutes - maybe up to an hour and a half in horrible conditions. Well, last night it took me four hours to get home. I finally got home last night around 7 PM, ate some dinner, and went pretty much straight to bed.

This morning should be somewhat better. The snow is over, but there are now winds up to 50 MPH out there bringing the windchills below zero. It should be a "fun" day. If you are also in the Northeast, be sure to dress in layers and STAY bundled up until you are safely indoors!
