Where did that "Big Tent" go?

This story is being given lots of play on liberal websites but deserves a turn on a moderate website like ours as well. For years, the GOP has been trying to reach out to the NAACP in an attempt to have a "Big Tent" that embraces more than the stereotypical "white guys" of the Republican Party. Candidates like J.C. Watts have given the GOP some credibility on that front, but there is still a long way to go. So what happens when the NAACP give a candidates forum for the Republican Presidential Candidates? Only Tom Tancredo shows up. Sigh.
