Well, it’s February. So that means in two weeks you’ll either be happy about all the cute little red hearts, flowers, and candies… or you’ll be hating the fact that every time you turn around there’s another couple all cuddly and cooing over each other. Well, whether you have already found the love of your life, still not sure, or still looking for that special one of a kind someone, I figure we all need Valentine’s Day gifts! Heck, if we don’t have anyone to pamper, or anyone to pamper us, we might as well pamper ourselves!
Here’s a few suggestions, with more to come…
·Adagio is offering some very romantic, very tasty gifts for the Tea Lover this Valentine’s Day. They have gift sets ranging from $9 to $39, all packaged in heart-shaped boxes. They are a wonderful store, with a very informative site, their prices are great, and their customer service is extraordinary! With tea, you’re giving the gift of health and happiness. Adagio has an extensive tea list, and links to other tea-related sites as well.
·Champions: Return to Arms I really cannot review this one since it isn’t out yet, but I have found that any multiplayer video games such as Champions of Norrath are great buddy and/or couple games. You can look like a stud as you hack the baddies, level up from all of your fabulous playing abilities, and look cool as you pick up better weapons and armor! It’s a great way to get into a conversation, or break the ice if you’re just having a casual date.
·GearThatGives is a great site that has tons and tons of great gifts that not only make the recipient feel great, but also the giver because for each item purchased, a specific amount of food is provided to the country where the item originated. GearThatGives.com has links to other important sites, such as The Hunger Site, The Rainforest Site, The Breast Cancer Site just to name a few. If you would rather not purchase specifically Valentine’s gifts for your Valentine, but he is a pet lover, then you should click over to The Animal Rescue Site Store where the products fit the site! It’s a great way to help out your favorite cause. And Domestic Shipping for most products is a flat $2.95 per cart!
·The Body Shop is another site that is helpful to a variety of people. They believe in social responsibility and social justice. And their products are certainly a worthy cause. You’ll be smelling like a mango, an avocado, or a passionfruit in a matter of moments when you use products from The Body Shop. They have a variety of skincare products that are not only good for you, but also harmed no animals in the creation of the products. Ladies may enjoy their hypo-allergenic cosmetics as well. Be sure to check out the company owner’s bio in the “About Us” section of the site.
·Infectious Awareables is a fun site that provides neckties of the infectious caliber. The ties are all patterned by infectious diseases at the molecular or cellular level. You really should check out these ties even if you are not a happy neck-tie wearer. Each purchase, while a little pricey for some, gives back a portion to infectious disease education and research. You also can find a lot of other related information from this site.
