One of the main prerequisites for life on other planets is the existence of water. Preferably liquid water - since that is what is most required by all of the life on our own world - but water of any kind would be enough to drive many of the chemical cycles of life. Well,
the European rover has now apparently found a Sea of Ice on Mars! The Sea is around the equator of the planet and appears to be a relatively recent thing. Perhaps this does indicate that little green men will be swimming this summer!
