Soon, Boise, Philadelphia, Columbus, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Boston and St. Louis set up chapters, and by Election Day, there were 17 nationwide...Sobering as the election results were for liberals, Drinking Liberally hasn't suffered -- in fact, it's shown tremendous growth. There are now more than 50 chapters and bigger weekly turnouts since November 2 than before.Ahem. Pardon me, but when a large portion of people turn to drink en masse after a major emotional upset, isn't that usually a bad sign?! I find this so funny. Group intoxication as a political movement. It is any wonder some liberals are declaring liberalism "dead"?

"Drinking Liberally"
It may just be the fact that I am a non-drinker who has some kind of distorted view of the practice of imbibing tasty intoxicants, but there is something desperately funny to me about this new development among political liberals.
