The Problem with Kerry
Here's an Austrailian op-ed. It's an interesting perspective on how much worse things could get if the far left takes over. I really believe that Kerry has good intentions, that has never been in doubt in my mind. But his answers are still not satisfactory and they often seem naive and uniformed. Bush might come across as being out of touch, but Kerry just seems to think that there are magical answers that will become evident after his election. He says that we need to internationalize the Iraq occupation. Great...except Bush worked for almost a year and a half to do that and the French stabbed us in the back. The same countries who knew that Saddam had weapons before the war are so obsessed with how *bad* we are now that they haven't even considered what might have actually happened to the weapons. Can anyone say "Syria"...?
