All 30 GB Zunes Froze Today?

This seems unbelievable, but I am reading about it everywhere from multiple sources. But to be fair, I have not confirmed it with anyone I know who owns a Zune (Yes, I do know one guy). It is being reported that this morning, all 30 GB Zunes froze up and will not reboot or reset. There are isolated reports of successful unfreeze after letting the battery drain completely. Microsoft has yet to post anything about it on their own pages.

Wow, I can only imagine the apocalypse if this happened with the iPod or iPhone. How many people will be sitting in Times Square grumbling because their Zune won't play? Does this mean the end for Microsoft's attempt to invade the musical marketplace?

Safari 3 = Garbage?

I have to confess, I am a bit of a Mac snob. However, my experience thus far with Safari 3 is making me waver a bit. It is, hands down, the worst piece of software I've ever had the displeasure to have to use. I am curious, how other users of the new Safari are faring?

This piece of garbage browser fails on me daily, especially at certain sites like CNN, Mod-Blog, Blogger, and Yahoo Mail. It will be a small miracle if I am able to post this piece, that's how bad it is. In addition, I also find that the browser seems to lose the connection, simply hanging in mid load for a page. I haven't even noticed any increase in speed over the previous version of Safari either. I have never encountered such a bug-filled and unpleasant program on a Mac and it is very disappointing to me. So disappointing that I had to use the bold function to express it...
