Graduation: Your First Step Into Adulthood

17 Sacramento students were not able to attend their graduation ceremony after putting dye in the pool and cutting bird netting around the school. The students were warned, but now are trying to use the defense, "but it's tradition to do a senior prank." Welcome to adulthood where you have to take responsibility for your actions. Vandalism is vandalism and you were warned of the rules beforehand. There are many non-destructive pranks that can be done if you wish to participate in senior prank.

  1. I really have never understood how pranks or practical jokes are supposed to be fun for everyone. To me it is just people saying to themselves "Let's do something mean to someone else and them tell them they can't be mad, because it was just a joke."

  2. I agree with Wedge. Don't do the act if you're not willing to take the consequences. Saying "it is a tradition" doesn't make it any more right or legal than any other "traditional" crime.

  3. I totally agree with crchair. Practical jokes are only appropriate for people who you know like and appreciate them. Some friendships are based on them. But they always seemed mean to me.

How about TP-ing the school or the principal's house?
