I was introduced to the music of Derek Webb probably a few months ago. He is giving away one of his albums, Mockingbird, so long as you send the e-mail about his site to five friends (or put in five fake e-mail addresses). The album is an accoustic album, but even if that's not your type of music, I think most Mod-Bloggers would find the lyrics interesting. For example, in a song about poverty, he sings "Well, we're all living so good. / We moved out of Jesus' neighborhood. / Where He's hungry and not feeling so good / from going through our trash." While I don't necessarily agree with everything Derek Webb sings about, he's made me think.
