There's a new force getting more and more mention of late as US relations with Muslims becomes more important. The Council on American-Islamic Relations, CAIR, was formed in the 1990's and has gained considerable steam towards becoming THE voice of Muslims in America. So, what is CAIR? Visit the site to read what they see as their vision. I would also suggest some other sites that question what CAIR is doing. Some include the aptly titled anti-CAIR and Daniel Pipes does some work and has a HUGE list of sites all about CAIR.
Whether they're quiet supporters of terrorism, or only interested in the peaceful rule of Islam, their vision of America is one that I see as extremely dangerous. I suspect that we'll see a lot more of them in the news in the coming years. It will be up to us to know what they're about and keep an eye on their work.
