Flu Season 2005: Good News and Bad News

Well, I am home sick today - though still working from home as I can - so it seemed like a good day to link to the current CDC report on the flu's progress in the young year of 2005. The bad news is that flu cases nationwide are still on the upswing. If you have not yet had the flu this year, don't waste your sick days because chances are that you still will. (Unless you were one of the lucky few to score a flu shot.) The good news (for me) however, is that it is on the wane in the New England region (where I live), so chances are the sick days that New Yorkers will be needing will be less and less.
