McCain wins big, Clinton/Obama essentially tied
In a reversal of the expectations of a few weeks back, John McCain appears to be headed towaed a clear nomination, but Clinton and Obama are tied and may be heading to a brokered convention after Super Tuesday failed to crown a Democratic front-runner. And California now becomes the big state for Conspiracy Theorists to focus on, after widespread reports of problems with ballots and/or the ability to find a place to even vote.

Welcome to Super Tuesday!
Get Out and Vote!!!
Originally uploaded by Chase Davis.
If you are registered with a Political Party and are in a Super Tuesday state, as I am, get out and vote today. And remember, the only wasted vote is the one not cast.
If you're unsure who to vote for, consider this good advice from Dennis Prager: "I humbly but strongly suggest to Democrats and Republicans alike that they not vote today on the basis of who they think will win in November, but on which candidate they think will make the better president."

The Company We Keep
There is an old saying that goes something like "They will know us by the company we keep." What do Rudy Guliani, Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Pataki, and Christopher Shays have in common?
1. They are all considered Liberal Republicans by most in the party.
2. They are all Pro-Choice.
3. They all endorsed John McCain for President.
John McCain is making his way around the country with these and other politicians. These are all good public servants, but they are not the base or epitome of the Republican Party. Do we really want to nominate someone who who will undoubtably nominate these type of Republicans to important cabinet positions? I hope this makes you think.
