Apple Revamps iPod... No Big Changes

Apple Computer released a new version of its popular line of iPod Music Devices today. What's new and different? Lower price (Woo-hoo!), revised scroll wheel like the iPod Mini (Meh), and a new "Shuffle Songs" option in the main menu (Why?).



I am a major iPod fan and have owned every generation of iPod up to now. I brought my 40 gig 3G iPod with me to Sean's wedding, and enjoyed the music and the fun it is. But I don't think I'll bother to upgrade to this new version. There is nothing really new or different on it (at least for my uses). I was really hoping for something a little bigger for an upgrade, though I know not every product out of the box can revolutionize the industry. Still, having been in the Apple Store in Seattle, Washington this weekend, I can see Apple is still going strong.
