It's (almost) Official! The iPhone Lives!

After years of speculation, mockups, photoshop fakes, and Steve Jobs denials, it appears that an Apple-branded cell phone is on the horizon. According to PCMag, a Motorola executive demo'd one of their phones sporting the "official" iTunes interface with the ability to seamlessly sync with iTunes and your computer. (Well, his computer anyway.) Officials at Motorola claim that the device shown was not the actual iPhone, but now do not bother to deny this device exists. Some rumor sites allege that the device will be shown at Steve Jobs's keynote next week. I still don't regret buying my SideKick II, but I am still looking forward to see what Apple can bring to the already-crowded, but largely unsatisfying, cell phone space.



Update 10 PM: This guy actually has a picture of the thing, allegedly. Doesn't look that impressive from this one, but then it DOES look like an iPod screen.
